PXC Nordics
An Invitation-Only Nordic Think Tank for Senior CPOs
PXC Nordics is the most selective part of Procurement Executives Community (PXC).
The group is designed for a limited number of the most senior Chief Procurement Officers from larger Nordic companies.
The purpose is to create a level of strategic dialogue, trust and reflection that is rarely possible in larger professional forums.
Why PXC Nordics Exists
Procurement leadership is increasingly shaped by issues that extend far beyond procurement itself.
- Geopolitics.
- Supply dependency.
- Resilience.
- Sustainability.
- Technology.
- Access to suppliers and capacity.
These challenges increasingly influence business performance and board-level priorities.
At the same time, many senior procurement leaders operate with limited opportunities for honest peer dialogue across companies.
PXC Nordics was created to address that gap.
Not as a traditional network, but as a Nordic think tank built around trust, independence and serious discussion.
A Deliberately Different Environment
PXC Nordics is intentionally designed to operate differently from most executive forums.
The group is:
- Invitation-only
- Strictly limited in size
- Independent and non-profit
- Based on long-term relationships
- Governed by the Chatham House Rule
PXC Nordics operates without:
- Sponsors
- Consultants
- Commercial partners
- External agendas
This independence is essential to the quality of discussion.
The purpose is not visibility or commercial activity.
The purpose is to create an environment where senior procurement leaders can discuss strategic challenges openly and honestly.
Who Participates
Participation is limited to a small number of senior CPOs from larger Nordic companies.
Members are selected based on:
- Leadership relevance
- Strategic responsibility
- Willingness to contribute openly
- Long-term fit with the group
The number of participating companies is intentionally limited to protect the quality of dialogue and relationships over time.

What Is Discussed
PXC Nordics focuses on the issues shaping procurement leadership over the coming years.
Typical themes include:
- Procurement's role at executive and board level
- Procurement as competitive advantage
- Supplier dependency and allocation
- Resilience and optionality
- Sustainability and regulatory pressure
- AI and digital transformation
- Leadership and organisational design
Discussions are practical and experience-based rather than theoretical.
The focus is on reflection, judgement and long-term leadership perspectives.
How the Group Works
PXC Nordics operates through small, carefully curated gatherings during the year.
The format is:
- Dialogue-based
- Workshop-oriented
- Discussion-driven
- Built around real business challenges
The environment is intentionally informal and built on peer-level trust.
There are no sales presentations, keynote circuits or sponsor-driven activities.
A Nordic Foundation
PXC Nordics is rooted in Nordic values and leadership culture.
The environment is characterised by:
- Trust and openness
- Low hierarchy
- Direct dialogue
- Pragmatism
- Long-term thinking
The ambition is not to create visibility.
The ambition is to create one of the most trusted environments for procurement leadership dialogue in the Nordics.
