PXC Nordics

An Invitation-Only Nordic Think Tank for Senior CPOs

PXC Nordics is the senior Nordic leadership circle within Procurement Executives Community (PXC).

The group brings together a limited number of Chief Procurement Officers from larger Nordic companies for confidential dialogue around leadership, competitive advantage and the strategic issues shaping procurement over the coming years.

The purpose is to create a level of trust, judgement and reflection that is difficult to establish in larger executive environments.

Why PXC Nordics Exists

Procurement Leadership increasingly influences issues extending far beyond procurement itself.

  • Geopolitics.
  • Supplier dependency.
  • Resilience.
  • Technology.
  • Sustainability.
  • Access and allocation.

These factors increasingly shape business performance and executive priorities.

At the same time, many senior leaders have limited opportunities for confidential dialogue with peers facing similar strategic realities.

PXC Nordics was created to address that need.

Not as a network. But as a Nordic think tank built around trust, intellectual seriousness and long-term relationships.

A Deliberately Different Environment

PXC Nordics is intentionally designed to operate differently from most executive forums.

The group is:

  • Invitation-only
  • Strictly limited in size
  • Independent and non-profit
  • Based on long-term relationships
  • Governed by the Chatham House Rule

PXC Nordics operates without:

  • Sponsors
  • Consultants
  • Commercial partners
  • External agendas

This independence is essential to the quality of discussion.

The purpose is not visibility, scale or commercial activity.

The purpose is to create an environment where senior procurement leaders can openly discuss the strategic questions and leadership challenges that increasingly influence business performance.

Who Participates

Participation is limited to a small number of senior CPOs from larger Nordic companies.

Participants are selected based on:

  • Leadership relevance
  • Strategic responsibility
  • Contribution mindset
  • Openness to peer dialogue
  • Long-term fit with the group

The number of participating companies is intentionally limited to protect trust, relevance and long-term relationships.

What Is Discussed

PXC Nordics focuses on the issues shaping procurement leadership over the coming years.

Typical themes include:

  • Procurement at executive and board level
  • Procurement Leadership capability
  • External dependency as competitive advantage
  • Organisational capability
  • Supplier dependency and allocation
  • Resilience and optionality
  • Leadership capability and organisation design
  • AI and digital transformation
  • Sustainability and regulation
  • External dependencies and business performance

Discussions are practical and experience-based rather than theoretical.

The focus is on reflection, judgement and long-term leadership perspectives.

How the Group Works

PXC Nordics operates through carefully curated gatherings throughout the year.

The format is:

  • Dialogue-based
  • Workshop-oriented
  • Discussion-driven
  • Based on real organisational challenges
  • Built around peer-level trust

Discussions are grounded in real business situations rather than prepared presentations.

No sales presentations.
No keynote circuits.
No sponsor-driven activities.

A Nordic Foundation

PXC Nordics is rooted in Nordic values and leadership culture.

The environment is characterised by:

  • Trust and openness
  • Low hierarchy
  • Direct dialogue
  • Pragmatism
  • Long-term thinking

The ambition is not to create visibility.

The ambition is to create one of the most trusted environments for strategic Procurement Leadership dialogue in the Nordics.
