Why PXC Was Created
Procurement Executives Community was created because procurement is becoming increasingly important for business performance, but the leadership around it has not evolved at the same pace.
Many companies still organise procurement primarily around cost savings and operational support.
At the same time, procurement leaders are increasingly expected to manage supply risk, geopolitical uncertainty, sustainability, supplier innovation, resilience and growth.
Expectations have changed.
The mandate often has not.
PXC was created to offer a more serious environment for procurement leadership.
Not a traditional network.
Not another conference.
But an independent Nordic think tank built around trust, quality and long-term relationships.
An Independent Nordic Think Tank
PXC is based on a simple principle:
The quality of discussion determines the quality of decisions.
For that reason, PXC is deliberately designed to be:
- Invitation-only
- Limited in size
- Strictly non-commercial
- Independent of sponsors, consultants and external partners
There is no commercial agenda behind the dialogue.
The purpose is not visibility, scale or business opportunities.
The purpose is to create a setting where procurement leaders can speak openly, challenge assumptions and reflect on real strategic issues.
All discussions follow the Chatham House Rule to ensure honesty and trust.
PXC is built for leaders who value depth over exposure and substance over activity.

Nordic Values
PXC is rooted in a Nordic context, and this shapes both the culture and the way conversations take place.
The environment is characterised by:
- Trust and openness
- Direct and informal dialogue
- Low hierarchy
- Pragmatism over theory
- Long-term thinking
This creates a setting where senior leaders can engage as peers, rather than as roles.
The ambition is not to impress — but to understand.
Why We Work With Company Memberships
PXC is built on company membership rather than individual participation.
This is a deliberate choice.
Procurement leadership does not sit with one person alone.
It sits across a leadership team.
By involving both the CPO and selected members of the procurement leadership team, PXC creates:
- Stronger internal alignment
- Better implementation of ideas
- More continuity over time
- Greater organisational impact
In Club 100 Denmark, participation is designed for CPOs and their management teams.
In PXC Nordics, participation is limited to a small number of the most senior CPOs from larger Nordic companies.
In both cases, the number of member companies is intentionally limited.
Because the goal is not scale. The goal is to create a trusted environment where meaningful dialogue is possible.
